Forgive me for not posting much. I will take photos throughout my days and mentally write a post, but by the time evening rolls around I just want to sleep.
Our weather has once again changed and so I'm hopeful that Spring is here to stay. During our last nice streak (two weeks ago) I planted some broccoli and spinach seeds. I'm happy to report that they have emerged from the ground and will soon need some thinning. The nights are still below freezing, so I'm covering them with a light cloth.
We are getting ready to start construction again on the house. This time we are tearing down a deck, and replacing it with a mudroom/laundry room and a master suite. I'm excited to finally get the laundry out of the family room.

I have also added more vegetables to my window. Nathan made me a temporary shelf to hold everything.
Currently planted:
(bottom left to right)
Parsley, Giant Sunflowers, Cilantro, Sage, Marjoram, cucumbers
(top left to right)
tomatoes, bush beans, pole beans, broccoli, green peppers, celery, asparagus
I have containers and seeds for zucchini and several types of hot peppers, but I just haven't gotten around to planting them yet. I am still debating whether or not I should just plant the zucchini straight into the ground. I've had excellent luck with that in the past, but then again that was a different growing zone.
I have also made some big changes to the garden. That will have to wait for another post. My computer is being especially slow to upload photos today.
